Choosing the perfect Tampa wedding venue can be one of the most challenging aspects of planning your big day. But committing to a wedding planner is also a big decision and a long-term commitment.
As a Wedding Planner in Florida with over a decade of experience in the event industry, I know how daunting the process can be. After hearing stories from couples who waited till after they booked their venue to get help, I decided there had to be a better way.
Hence - the intro of Venue Consulting! Maybe you're not ready to hire a wedding planner quite yet but you are looking for someone to help you navigate the complexities of all the available venue options, save you time, and provide expert recommendations. Then this option is for you.
The Process
The venue consulting fee is a $500 investment. We'll get together to review your vision including, guest count, design theme, and budget in order for me to understand exactly what you're looking for. With over a decade in the industry, I'll then provide you with recommendations on venues that could be a perfect fit and help you navigate any pros and cons.
1. One-on-One Call
We'll get together on a scheduled call to review your overall wedding vision including, guest count, theme, and what's most important to you. This allows me to understand exactly what you're looking for.
2. Deep Dive on Design
How you envision your big day matters a great deal to the venue you choose. Dreaming of a rustic barn aesthetic, or an elegant ballroom? We'll talk through your design board to ensure the venue's match your vision.
3. Creating a Budget
The dreaded B word we all want to avoid. But understanding your overall wedding budget is crucial before you make a venue decision. I'll help you put together a custom budget tailored specifically to you based on what you can spend.
4. Research Begins!
Now that I understand your overall vision and budget, I'll provide you a curated list of potential venues that fit! You'll be able to easily compare them on a single spreadsheet and I'll provide a folder with additional resources such as the venue proposals.
5. Venue Visits
There is a lot of industry terminology as well as specific venue or service-related questions you might not think to ask on a site visit. Once you narrow down your top 2-3 venue choices, I'll schedule site visits and attend them alongside you to help ensure you get the right answers to any questions.
6. Contract Review
You've found the one! Now the painstaking process of reviewing and signing the contract. I can't tell you how many couples simply sign without reading first! I'll be here to review the contract in full, and make any recommendations or bring specific elements to your attention to ensure there are no surprises closer to the wedding day.

My goal with Venue Consulting is to ensure you not only find the perfect Tampa wedding venue, but that you absolutely love working with me! I would be honored to lead you through the rest of the wedding planning journey. As your wedding planner, I will help you book and manage all your vendors, handle all the setup and day-of logistics, making sure everything runs flawlessly. Whether you need someone to keep the wedding party in line, draw up your final floorplan, or help Uncle Bob find his seat. Your wedding planner is truly your best friend, sidekick, and all-around support system through every single aspect of your wedding journey.
Once your venue is booked, and you decide you'd like to hire me as your planner, you have the option to upgrade to one of my wedding planning packages. If you decide to do so, I'll credit the cost of the Venue Consulting service toward your total planning package. Essentially, that means there's no additional cost for you!
