We’ll help research vendors, refine your budget, and building a detailed, stylish design board that brings all the elements together. This package offers the perfect balance: you stay hands-on with the parts you enjoy, and we step in with the tools, strategy, and support to help you bring your day to life—stress-free and beautifully curated.

Wedding Day Management

Event Management (Day-of Coordination) is perfect for couples who’ve already done the heavy lifting—but want to make sure everything comes together seamlessly.

You’ve poured your heart into creating a beautiful day, and now it’s time to hand things over and be fully present. We step in during those final months to tie up loose ends, communicate with vendors, create a detailed timeline, and make sure every piece falls perfectly into place. On your wedding day, we're behind the scenes managing the flow to give you the peace of mind to let go, soak it all in, and celebrate surrounded by the people you love

Where do I start? What does the process look like?

Our logistics coordination starts as soon as you hire us, whether you’re 5 months or 2 years away from your event! We'll kick things off with a consultation call to talk about your vision, plus you’ll get access right away to our professional spreadsheets and checklists to help guide you along the way. No need to google and sort through all the noise out there, we'll provide custom items just for you!

 

Three months out we'll begin to dive into a comprehensive minute by minute timeline creation with you and act as the lead point of contact for all your vendors. We'll direct your rehearsal the day before and execute flawlessly on event day so that you and your family can enjoy every moment.

Where are you located?

Events by Marykate is a wedding and events planner in the Greater Tampa Bay, Florida area. As Florida wedding planners we service multiple areas including Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Odessa, Trinity as well as venues three hours outside of the Tampa Bay area. 

What’s the difference between you and a venue coordinator?
We get asked this ALL the time! 

💍 Venue Coordinator = Focused on the venue and the 100+ events they do a year if not more. They ensure the space is open, the lights are on, and the tables are set — but their priority is the venue’s interests, not your full wedding vision. They are not creating a timeline, calling all your vendors prior to your wedding, or ensuring every detail is checked prior to or on your day.

💒 Wedding Planner = Focused on YOU. We manage every detail — vendors, timelines, design, family dynamics, last-minute surprises (yes, even those!). We are there through every step, a resource for any questions, and the one there to ensure the day runs smoothly and course correct when needed.

Ok, so what makes you different from other wedding planners?

This is one of the single most important days of your life, and we believe in creating an experience throughout your wedding planning journey. No more talking to ten different wedding vendors who all give you different advice and prices. Our approach to wedding planning is deeply personal, creatively driven, and always mindful of your budget.

How often can I reach out with questions?

You can reach out via email anytime with questions! Depending on when you book, we'll have monthly check ins where we’ll meet to discuss all of the details and assess what still needs to be done. We'll assist in the final weeks to take the stress off of you, including confirming with each of your vendors and developing a comprehensive timeline for the big day.

When in the planning process should we hire you?

This could depend on a number of factors, such as when your actual wedding day is, how large of a wedding, etc. Ideally you want to book your planner as soon as possible - we always recommend the first steps in planning include confirming your venue and your planner. We find the process is so much more stress-free this way versus couples who wait until they are overwhelmed with all the details to finally hire a planner. Many couples book a year or more in advance.

What does the actual wedding day look like?

It’s time for you to take your place as the guest of honor and let us do the heavy lifting. We've worked together to ensure a flawless event day and we'll be there day of to ensure an exceptional experience from start to finish!

She is extremely organized, super efficient, and a pleasure to work with. There wasn’t one thing that we needed that she couldn’t figure out a way to make it happen. She handled our day of coordination developing the timeline, keeping vendors accountable, and ensuring that the church and venue were perfect. She met with us several times via zoom and in-person to coordinate with the venue and other vendors. She stepped in and helped ease tensions on many occasions including with the venue that was challenging to work with.

She was in charge of moving our wedding cake from the venue’s refrigerator,  and decorating it with flowers (who knew the bakery, florists, and the hotel wouldn’t work together to get the delivered cake into the reception room and place the flowers on it)! She took it in stride and did a fabulous job! She helped us coordinate table decorations, cleaning up at the end of the night, transporting all of this stuff back up to our hotel room.

Every item that you didn’t want to worry about on your wedding day, she handled and then some. Just a wonderful experience. Less than 15 minutes before the ceremony she was making sure we had snacks, fixing broken boutonnieres, and trimming bouquets. Truly a jack of all trades!

Everything turned out flawless! The only thing I would suggest is to involve her earlier on in the process to reduce your wedding stress level. We only did for day of coordination and looking back, I wish we would have had her help with more. SHE IS FABULOUS and well worth her fee which was extremely reasonable! Snap her up and have a stress free wedding day!
